“We know the legends of Korkut very well. To see them told so beautifully with puppets, music and dance, as well as sound and light - now they are accessible for all nationalities. It is wonderful that the actors have created such a masterful performance based on this legend. I would like to thank the Varna State Puppet Theatre for the opportunity for our friends from Tiyatro Tempo to participate in the International Puppet Festival. As a Turkish diplomatic representative in Bulgaria, I am keen to help with the development of such cultural connections.”

Marina Yudge (actress at Tiyatro Tempo, Ankara, Turkey):
“We feel wonderful here at the festival - the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming, even if there is competition for the “Golden Dolphin” awards. Having participated in other festivals where the atmosphere is more tense, we are so happy to find that there is no animosity between colleagues here. We were very excited ahead of our performance - so it was amazing to have such a brilliant audience that inspired us very much. We are very happy to have been invited and to be here in Varna.”

The Festival is realized with the financial support of Ministry of Culture, Culture Fund-Varna Municipality and National Culture Fund
