The performance Some Peculiarities of … the Puppet Theatre is a unique show exhibiting known and unknown characters in new situations.

The performance is a perfect combination of the artistic team’s remarkable sense of humour and the virtuous performances of the actors that are masters of the puppet theatre art. Both comic effect and the unique animation effect are achieved in the etude development. The 2007/2008 theatre season of the State Puppet Theatre was opened by the first two performances of  Some Peculiarities of … the Puppet Theatre. They were played in an overcrowd hall, an hour of endless laughter and applauses.

After the hit title of Cabaret, even if with a different content and form, this is the new show of the State Puppet Theatre of Varna.The title, taken at some extent by the reputed Russian movies shows the jocular view of the authors to both the puppet art and the other stage arts.

Puppets by reputed Bulgarian stage designers, Elena Tsonkova, Kosta Orthodoksov, Maya Petrova, Maya Kuzova, Marieta Golomehova, Petya Stoykova, and Svila Velichkova are revived in new roles in Some Peculiarities of ... the Puppet Theatre.
