„This performance has been provoked by Arthur Penn’s movie “Little big man” which stars Dustin Hoffman – a renowned western of 20th century. It tells the story of a little man whose odyssey turns him into a big man. His survival instincts force him to switch sides – of the Indians against white men and vice versa, without this making him a traitor. After all, life is more precious than duty. With incredible efforts he manages to stay pure without killing anyone. Fate lingers him between crooks and clerics, Christian morality and alcohol dependence, between a Swedish and an Indian wife and he almost gets killed by his own sister. The whole time he is being dragged by God and Satan, almost being ripped apart, but this is the price of survival. His peculiar living is being paralleled with the living of Indians. Their final battle ends with victory over the white men, but only temporary. Shortly after that they will enter the reserves and start degrading."
